The natural wild floral arrangements, especially the eucalyptus, rose and ranunculus, ribbon adorned bouquet stole my heart. There was also a wooden backdrop draped in flowers and a statement floral crown for the bride. The table décor was really stylish and the floral love letters really made for a touch of wow. You’re going to love this inspiration lovelies.

“The photoshoot organised by Ellie Lou Photography took place at Barley Wood in North Somerset and included suppliers from across the South West. Barley Wood is an 18th Century country house with 11 acres of woodland and parkland. It is an exclusive use wedding and private events venue. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, so it was perfect for a shoot with an English Country Garden theme!”
“The theme of the shoot was English Country Garden so it included lots of greenery mixed with a soft pink and grey colour scheme to complement the two beautiful designs by Cornwall based bridal dressmaker, Ailsa Munro:
Ivory Dress “Merryn”. Silk tulle draped wedding dress with cowl neckline and silk buttons behind the draped back.
Grey Dress “Elin”. Silver grey silk wedding dress with chiffon skirt, scoop neckline (used without sleeves for the shoot but also available with elbow length sleeves).”
“We included splashes of silver and metallic in the styling and lots of greenery with the florals. Rustic Rentals – Vintage Event Prop Hire based just outside of Bristol supplied the props and decorations for the shoot, including all of the candle holders, centrepieces, the vintage bike and vintage wooden shutters. Cotswold Vintage Party Hire provided the glassware and silverware and Lighthaus Events based in North Somerset provided a set of 5ft floral LOVE letters.”
“Emily at Daisy Lane Floral Design in North Somerset created the beautiful floral arrangements and designs. The silk ribbons were supplied by Lancaster & Cornish.
The main flowers used for the shoot were: Ranunculus, Peonies, Roses (Quicksand, Avalanche and Kiera), Lilac, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Seeded Eucalyptus.”
“Lace & Grace Bridal Boutique based in Keynsham, Bristol provided two beautiful veils to complement the two different styles, one ivory (worn with the ivory dress) and one pale pink (worn with the grey dress). They also provided a pair of elegant bridal shoes with a hint of silver by Charlotte Mills.
We wanted to achieve a really fresh look with hair and make up and Becky Flynn (Make up) and Louise Alway (Hairstylist), both based in Somerset, created a lovely soft and classic bridal look. Hermione Harbutt provided a set of classic “Starlight” pearl earrings and “Lily’ hairpins from her bridal collection to finish the look.”
“The bespoke fine art wedding stationery was created by Devon based Throwing Apples Design. The watercolour design was created especially for the shoot to match the floral designs and the country garden theme. Indulgence Chocolates based on Hill Road in Clevedon provided some traditional chocolates and wedding favours and the amazing buttercream cake with sugar flowers was created by Emma at Bake My Cake, based just outside of Bristol.”
